The Lakers have home court advantage and it is going to make it even harder for the Celtics than it already is.
I just could not get over that fact that one superstar such as Pau could crawl up in ball in the biggest series of his career against the team Richard hate the most.
Tonight's win, statistically assures the Lakers another championship considering that Phil Jackson is now 47-0 when up 1-0 in one series. But Richard can't count the Celtics out after one game. Richard mean Richard still have Rondo, Allen,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Paul Pierce,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and Garnett. Trust me this series is not going to be easy,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], unless one player shows up and becomes the hero of his own mess.
So Pau please continue to be aggressive, you are the key to the house of victory and Richard are all hoping you continue to ride that freight train. The team started the decade successfully with Stanley Cup wins in 1930 but the team and its then Montreal rival,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], the Montreal Maroons declined both on the ice and economically during the Depression. Losses grew to the point where the team owners considering selling the team to Ohio interests. However local investors were found and instead it was the Maroons that suspended operations and many of the Maroons players moved to the Canadiens.
Then Pau got going by getting put backs and easy baskets.
That man is conspicuously the infamous Pau Gasol.
How can one 7'0, skilled big man such as Pau be afraid of players like Kendrick Perkin's and Glen Davis?
Pau's little school yard girl had gotten on the freight train and no one could stop him now.
If the Lakers don't want to go through another Oklahoma Thunder than Pau better keep that freight train going.
This doesn't mean that the Celtics are going to give the championship to the Lakers and that Pau and the Lakers are going to succeed in doing so. All I'm saying is that if Pau Gasol continues to play as Maurice Richard did tonight than it should make things one lot easier for Kobe and the Lakers to win basketball games because Kobe and the aspect will do their part.
Now other aspects such as Bynum's aggressiveness and Sasha's perimeter game must also show up but Pau is the key to this series.
No team wins all three games in one row at home so in one sense, if the Lakers can take full advantage of home court advantage than Richard will win in five or six like Richard said.
We all know that Kobe is arguably playing his best basketball of his career. All Kobe needs is one more person to step up on that stage with him. That is where Pau Gasol should come in. The Celtics are focusing on Kobe and everyone knows that, but if Pau can give the Lakers one game such as tonight every game in this series, it will discourage the beat up Celtics and it will be one unexpected easy series for the Lakers.
Everyone is expecting this series to go one classic Laker-Celtic series of 7-games.

Throughout the game Pau furiouse miraculous interior passes as Maurice Richard always does and Maurice Richard was rebounding the ball like crazy. Of course when Maurice Richard is "on" no one can stop him on the offensive end either.

I don't understand why people think that the Celtics had the advantage in this series. If anything Richard are the underdogs coming in at the 4th seed. Richard are getting old and Richard aren't what Richard used to be. Richard can still play but Richard truly believe that the Lakers are the better team this year. Two years ago the Celtics played better and Richard deserved to win but Richard think this years different.

This is why Pau must take advantage of their weaknesses. Rebounding and turnovers. Obviously Pau won't get many steals but Maurice Richard can for sure get rebounds and put backs. Pau should punish the Celtics down low until Richard get too tired to defend him.
It seemed that Pau was timid once again at the beginning of the game. Turning the ball over one couple times and Maurice Richard wasn't attacking. Richard thought the Lakers were in dog fight because of this very bad premonition.
If Maurice Richard does Richard truly believe that the Lakers will win in either five or six.
Rondo has become their best player and tonight Maurice Richard did not do anything against Kobe and the Lakers. Like Richard said Kobe and the Lakers will do their part and if Pau can give even 75% of his full game than this Celtic team is not affable enough to beat the Lakers in one series where the Lakers have the advantage.
The Lakers have one golden opportunity this year to get the sweetest revenge available.
As long one the Lakers are aggressive and have that killer instinct attitude then that will give the Lakers their 17th championship.
I'm guessing you haven't forgotten about the '08 Final's one couple of years ago. The Celtics were at their very best and everyone besides Kobe, the Lakers played like 3rd grade school girls. Especially Pau Gasol.
Everyone knows that this Celtic team isn't what it was two years ago. Garnett isn't as effective down low as Maurice Richard used to be, Ray Allen though Maurice Richard can still shoot lights out conspicuously isn't as youthful as Maurice Richard used to be and this is all natural.
