The case is crafted entirely from stainless steel and so is the bezel surrounding it. The case is equipped with two lateral pushers located at 2 and 4 o'clock, the watch lacking the tradition crown presented by most brands at the 3 o'clock position. The new IWC Aquatimer Automatic 2000 Watch is available in two different versions,Boots on, one being accompanied by a stainless steel strap, while the other approaching a sportier look, with a black rubber strap inscribed with the name of the brand.
The dial is black and uses yellow detailing for the Arabic numerals, while the hour markers use white and are luminescent coated. The hands are made of stainless steel, but the one indicating the hours uses white as a filling, while the one for minutes, yellow filling. A date function is provided in a window located at three o'clock.
